Naturalist and scientific illustrator, Angelo works in the Natural History Gallery of the University of Perugia. He has been conducting intense activities of ecological education and scientific dissemination in museums, mainly in vertebrate paleontology, zoology and tropical biogeography. He participated in numerous field research in Italy and abroad (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana, Costa Rica, Brazil). He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian School of Paleoanthropology.
