Biography

With a multidisciplinary background in Geology and Anthropology, Dario is currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Biology at the University of Florence, working on the PRIN 2022 project “The Early-Middle Pleistocene Transition in intertropical Africa: insights from Olduvai Gorge“. His research primarily focuses on prehistoric human behavior, with expertise in experimental archaeology, lithic technology and the archaeometry of lithic resources. Regarding fieldwork activities, he is involved in collecting geospatial data and managing it using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
